I bought these for my granddaughters and daughter-in-laws and felt I needed one too. It is definitely a soothing tool for me.

I was recommended Warmies by my father-in-law and sister-in-law, who had the plushes in their home, and let me borrow one for my period cramps. When I decided to get one for myself, I realized they were much more than just "hot water bottles" for my cramps. I got the platypus, and he's incredibly cute and cuddly. Sometimes I'll heat him up just for the warmth. And the best part? The lavender scent is a game-changer! I just love the lavender scent! The combination of softness, warmth, and the soothing scent is what makes the Warmies a great cuddle buddy for when you're stressed and need to relax.

I would've given it 5 stars for that alone. I docked a star because a couple days after receiving the Warmie I found some loose grains in my bed, indicating an opening or a hole somewhere in the stuffed animal. I know it's an easy fix, just sew it back up, but I wanted to bring awareness to the company and customers that this kind of thing can happen and I hope that minor issue gets addressed.

But that aside, I strongly recommend getting a Warmie if you need a relaxant for stress, if you experience period cramps or other aches in your body, or if you just like cute stuffed animals (like me).

I purchased this warmie for my new granddaughter and even though I haven't given it to her yet, I opened it and it is soft and smells like lavendar, just as described. I can't wait for her to try it!
